Freedom Seminars was founded by Ridgway K. “Dick” Foley and David A. Hendersen to promote and present seminars to study and explicate the free society, and to encourage voluntary actions based upon the highest moral values.

Freedom Seminars, Inc. is a registered non-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status located in Salem, Oregon.

Mr. Foley has practiced law in Portland for more than 40 years. A former trustee of the Foundation for Economic Education, he has published scholarly articles in such journals as The Freeman, Freedom Daily, and Reason.

 

Mr. Hendersen is founder and president of Columbia Food Machinery, Inc., a supplier of equipment for food processing plants. He and his wife, Laurie, are fascinated by the market economy and are fervent proponents of the principles of private property and personal freedom.
